During the POST and the rest of the bootup, before the lilo prompt appears?
Don't have any linux around right now - my old SuSE 6.4 box (a p200) has been
formatted into a win98 box (my mom's a VB programmer, and needs the disk
space) and I run freebsd 4.4-stable on this P3 here.
I'll see if I can lay my hands on a spare comp - $DEITY knows I have enough
linux CDs to spare.
