The steps are as follows.
1. mkir /win98
2. Edit /etc/fstab and enter the following line at the end of the file.

/dev/hdb1    /win98    vfat    defaults    1 1

<Comment starts>
 u can use this method where hdxn is your device
(x       stands for  'a'    "hda"    where your hard disk is primary master)
(x        stands for 'b'    "hdb"    where your hard disk is primary
slave)......
(n        stands for '1'   "hda1"    where 1 is the first partition of
primary master and so on...)
