To take hint, I checked another installation, and find that .gnome
directory was without followinf files, so I copied these files.

1) gmc  2) metadata.db

I also noticed following line in gmc file

[History: Anonymous FTP passwd: ]
0=user@computer_name

This user name I changed to reflect used of my PC. The error remain
same. Following is the part of startx out put, which may point to possible
error. I will be grateful if someone give me hint for possible solution.
