For the rpms - just rpm -Uvh pine-[whatever].rpm (you might have to install
some of the krb5 rpms as well as redhat pine rpms are typically built with
kerberos support).

For the tarball - just type "build slx" for linux - and the pine, pico etc
binaries are built in the bin/ directory I think.  Copy them to /usr/bin (or
wherever your old pine binaries are located)

Type "pine" at the prompt to run it.
