Hi,

I have following problem when i configure the mail server as a secondary mail server
for my domain.

The scenario is as follows:
My domain name : mydomain.com
primary mail server : 10.1.0.1
secondary mail server : 192.168.1.1
mail server : qmail 1.03

DNS entry for my domain:
mydomain.com mail exchanger = 0 10.1.0.1
mydomain.com mail exchanger = 10 192.168.1.1

My secondary mail server has hosted multiple domains and it is also used to relay
mails for those domains.

When i configure secondary mail server on 192.168.1.1 server, I am facing following
problem:

When any user who is hosted on 192.168.1.1 server and uses same server for relaying
their mails tries to send a mail to my domain ( i.e. [EMAIL PROTECTED]), Qmail
delivers all mails for my domain locally i.e. to (192.168.1.1). My users on 10.1.0.1
server don't receive those mails.

For above scenario the conclusion is that the qmail searches for the local file
first(rcpthost, virtualdomain) and then for the MX record. Please do advice me, how
can i configure my qmail in such a way that instead of local file it should check the
MX record first for all outgoing mail.

Please do reply at the earliest.

Thanks and regards

Prashant
