I am not sure if I have ever seen sftp packaged for debian. In any case, the safest bet would be to go to www.debian.org and do a search fo it. Alternatively, download the source form the developer's site (linked in freshmeat), and compile it yourself. Install with checkinstall, in case you want a .deb binary saved, and your local database updated for handling with dpkg.
