Hello Gurus,
I am using MDK8.1 .
In the file /etc/hosts the following entry is
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
Now is it because of this when the machine boots it
gives me root@localhost.
I want it to be say root@prasad and domain name
paranjape.
If I run commands hostname -v prasad and domainname -v
paranjape then I get the desired result.But I do not
know in which file these tow parameters get written.
Do let me know about it.
