no no , not geting my problem. I have seen a couple of chat softwares(for interanet lan) which required a centralized server What i mean is , if i use linux as a chat server (lets say jabber) , can i have a windows(underline, not Linux client for winpopup) client for that?
Again, one more example. ICQ has its own server.
