Umm firstly you are sending a attachment saying Wipro Disclaimer - I care two hoots to that disclaimer but most probably that is causing your emails to not reach the mailing list. Next Tape drives are not supposed to be shared just like that since only one person can write to it at a given time. What I would suggest is you grab the data from the windows machine to the unix machine in a cron job and dump that to tapes. I am not sure if there is a way to let windows machines have that control. Thirdly the subject is completely wrong. Fourthly did you read the smb.conf file it is very well documented to start off with a basic sharing. Finally if you did read the documentation and still facing some problem it would help if you could tell us what you tried and what was the outcome.
