| somedays ago a similar problem had come on this list but he/she got no |response. I responded to that question.... anyways here's the answer again... cc'ing you for good measure! :) the command java is a link to a shell script... edit that file... and add this line right at the top.(after disclaimers maybe) export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL="2.2.5" save the file! ;-) now java'll work fine.
