i have 2 accnt ..first afcourse is a root n other one, for some user.
now i want to capture whatever the user types on his terminal 2 some
file in my directory say "capture.txt".for that, i gave the following
coomand as a root.

$cat /dev/pts/2 > capture.txt

this afcourse transfers all the characters typed by the usr 2 my file but
user is not able 2 c what he has typed as now the stdin is my file.and
he is not able 2 c anything unless i come out of above command.as soon as
i come out he is able 2 c or type ..but whatever typed previously is all
gone.
i want 2 avoid this..ie user shud be able 2 write anything ,execute
any command parallely....
 does anyone has solution??

is it possible 2 issue above command without SU rights?if yes how?

yogesh

It is a painful thing to look at your own trouble and know that
you yourself and no one else has made it.
