Hello Amit,
I dont know about GUI browsing of windows machines from
Linux boxes. But you can use those two commands(smbclient & smbmount). They
can help you mount window's shares onto the Linux file system.
Also I think there is support for Windows Network Browsing in KDE itself.
Regarding your 256MB problem. Have you made any changes to
the RAS/CAS delay settings in your BIOS ? Try to be conservative with those
settings and dont make them too fast. Leave them at their default.

HTH,
G.Sriram.

hi,

I finished establishing my Linux and Windows Networking, and I am able to
browse the Linux machine from the Network Neighborhood in Windows, however
for browsing Windows mach. from Linux maach, I downloaded Komba2, but so far
I am not able to use it and browse my network.

I downloaded the rpm from and installed it, but beyond that I could not do
anything.

Anyone who can point out in this direction.

Regards

Amit Bhargava
