hi,
I have heard that people use telnet, portslave (and radius) for allowing a
particular user from a particular terminal for internet access using
iptables or ipchains rules in the gateway machine.

That is, once a user logs into the gateway machine through telnet, the user
from that terminal will be allowed to access the internet till he closes the
telnet session. They basically allow the users by setting iptables/ipchains
rules in the gateway machine based on the logged in terminal IPs.

I am also trying for a simillar setup. Is there something like this already
in the net? Plz give your suggestions.
