Hey Guys,

     I had configured bind a couple of days ago. I set up the nameserver
as ns.testserver.com (192.168.1.7) and set up addresses like
mac1.testserver.co (192.168.1.15) and mac2.testserver.com (192.168.1.16)
etc. when i do a nslookup for mac1, ns, mac2 etc. everything is fine and
the dns is getting resolved (both forward and reverse). Now i am
connected to a 172.16.x.x network also for which i have a gateway and
router configured, ip forwarding enabled also, i can ping the 172.16.x.x
network, now i want the 172.16.x.x dns to be resolved also, so when i do
a nslookup for something like proxy it should forward the lookup to the
172.16.x.x network which has proxy.local.test.com and likewise spock for
spock.local.test.com in the 172 network. How do i do that, I have added
entries in /etc/named.conf like
forward {
172.16.1.10
}
etc , but the dns isn't getting resloved, what to do ???

Mail Me !
