Hi, I have Analog Devices 1816 Cdoec sound card. In Windows it works fine. In PCQ Linux after following the article in the August 2001 issue, upgraded the kernel to 2.4.3-12 and installed the rpm's of ALSA sound drivers and it worked fine.
But I changed to Mandrake 8.1 (Developer IQ Cd) and not able to configure sound. When i gave sndconfig, the out put is: ------------------------------- ISAPNP Probe Results The Analog Devices AD1816A:Unknown is not currenty supported. The Mandrake 8.1 is having 2.4.8-26mdk Kernel.
