Hi all, at last I am able to install sendmail-8.11.6 on pcq linux 7.1 ( downloaded the srpm and rebuild it as kingsly said).
suresh, i think now i should be able to work on the real problem Now i have surf the website of sendmail and tried to understand virtual web hosting. at the sendmail website they explained how to setup sendmail for virtual webhosting. http://www.sendmail.org/virtual-hosting.html now i got the point there, if i give entry [EMAIL PROTECTED] kunal [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] it does what i need. but now coming to the original problem instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED] if i say [EMAIL PROTECTED] it goes in to recursion ( obviously ). I talked with rapidsite.net. I asked for the mapping of virutal domain i.e. how emails are reached. It seems that he did not understand the question and the reason for asking the question and so he did not give me direct reply but throw me on faq page. Here it contains simple user configuration etc. here is the snippets of the mail i sent to rapidsite.net -----------------> I want to know how the emails are reached at our server, for example If I have an email account [EMAIL PROTECTED] , what is the mapping in form of [EMAIL PROTECTED] can you give me what is your.virtual.web.host.net in this case? <-------------------------- is the explaining what we want?
