My apologies for posting this here but I am sort of in a real mess -- I'll
really appreciate, if I could get some help..

I tried to install Borland C++ and it's different components in my windows
98 system, everything was fine but somehow I see my C drive's icon has
changed to the icon of the C++ program and it's opening
the program if double clicked, it's opening that program. I tried by
uninstalling that but now it says:

Windows cannot find install.exe

This program is needed for opening files of type 'file'

Location of INSTALL.EXE

-- If I am trying to open the C drive when the program is installed, it's
getting me the C++ Builder set up launcher with all those C++ Builder,
TeamSource, InterBase 5.6, Local InterBase, Remote Debugger Server,
tc. -- which is supposed to happen if I try to access the CD with these ?

However, I can access the C:\ using the 'run c:\' but the small icon of the
C++ still remains on the browser window infront of the letter C.

-- I guess, somehow the C drive is being taken as the installation program
of Borland C++ .. thus when I deleted it, it's trying to find its location.
I am not sure if I am right, but could it solve if the icon could be changed
somehow..

Any idea, how could I get this fixed .. again, any help will greatly be
appreciated!
