The message is not because of the pop3 server installed. It is
a message from pine, which looks for this vulnerability during
execution. The permissions for the dir is:
drwxrwxrwt 2 root mail 4096 Dec 7 23:06 mail
To get this as root do : chmod 1777 /var/spool/mail

To know the total size of hard disk inclusive of Non-Linux and
non-formatted partitions, as root do:
#echo p | fdisk /dev/hdX 2> /dev/null
(where X is a, b, c etc)
OR #fdisk -l (this will list all drives together)
