If I refer to TOM's hardware is a reliable site, then it should work beautifully. I am sure if you search on that site you will get an exact review for that product. OK. here are results of a qucik google search.. I found it's to be more of Gigabyte rather than linux. Second zdnet link mentions a lock up with X. http://nlug.org/smp/#gigabyte http://lhd.zdnet.com/db/dispproduct.php3?DISP?2703 http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardwarecentral/reviews/2951/1/ http://www.hardware-one.com/reviews.asp?aid=217&page=1 http://www.cpureview.com/rev_amd14_b.html http://www.tweakers.be/meuktracker/988 This is a linux+AMD FAQ http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/faq/question/question_k7.htm This fellow is selling pre-installed linux on that.. http://www.racksaver.com/products/RS1211.asp This is a review that tested it under linux http://www.linuxhardware.org/features/01/10/09/1514233.shtml So I guess it should eb a safe bate to buy it for linux..
