Hi Listers I am reposting my earlier two queries again.Sorry about this beacause I am stuck on both the counts and am absolutely clueless. 1) In a m/c with 3GB HDD dual boot configuration (Win95 & PCQ Linux) and LILO on the MBR I am attaching a second HDD of 20 GB as primary slave and would like to load Second Distro (Caldera open Linux) in 20 GB HDD. Can you please give me pointers as to how to install it .As LILO is on MBR how it will recognise the two different ditros and boot them?
2) I am told that GRUB is a much better boot loader than LILO. Is it so ? and how? I installed GRUB from Caldera linux CD of PCQ but it did not function as boot loader. Man pages gave only various options, none on how to install it as the boot loader. Can you please help and clarify?
