Greetings guys I was trying to install suse 7.3 on a newly brought Pentium 4 with Intel mb.I faced problem in that. After selecting install from the boot menu, with blank screen the installation stopped. I tried manuall installation with text mode. Here after got some messge, again the installation was stopped. (infact the installation did not start). The last messeges i got were something like
Intel (R) 4 CPU with 1500MHz stepping 0a Checking htl instruction ... ok CPU:0 Clocks 0 Slice 0 I checked with memtest here it shows L1 cache unknown. L2 cache unknown. Does it mean that my cache is not recognized by suse? do I have to disabled in from bios?
