i ran a sample program to create a jpg on the command line and it worked
fine. however when jrun tried to execute the same, it gives this X11
connect problem. The DISPLAY var points to localhost.localdomain. What
intrigues me is that this program is not displaying anythin. it is just
creating a jpeg which will subsequently be hyperlinked to by the client
browser. so why should x11 be needed at all ? shouldnt the java api's be
enough ?
