FvwmButtons .. .some of them are just launchers.. while some others popup menus... and some are swallowed apps. (biffs , load , clock etc) I don't know if you can get the gradient effects with older fvwm versions... but I just love the highlighting effect of moving the mouse over the menus! (these a gradient effect even in the fvwmbuttons .. but it's not all that prominent) And the list on the left is all the FvwmWinList module... it slides in and out of the bottom. And I can also do almost all common tasks without a mouse!
