We r developing a php based appl. here we have to change the linux user passwd thru
php.
Later we also will have to create,delete,modify users thru php. I have tried with sid
shell scripts.
But i believe linux doesn't allow sid scripts. I have tried with c binary where i
tried to call the passwd command root can change user passwd command line) thru
system() func and got stuck again. I have heard about exec family of func. Will it
solve the problem.
