I tried to follow this document and i used the both the methods but i am getting strucked in between in both the type.
1) using lilo.conf First step is fine. After rebooting if i give ls -l /dev/scd* i am getting a list of scd0 to scd7 but cdwritter details is not their. and using of MAKEDEV is reporting as unknown command. 2) Using modules.conf After editing module.conf (as per step 1) if i give lsmod it is listing few modules but ide-scsi and sg are not in the list (referring to the document) So can u please help me to proceed???
