Dear Mukund,
                           I am facing the same problem regarding IPCP 
Timeout. The same configuration works fine with Redhat 7.1.  I don't 
think there is any problem with the remote end but there has been some 
change in the way 7.2 handles PPP.  Please do let me know if you were 
able to solve this problem.
