No its out of single user mode.
It was a forced reboot because of power failure.
When it came down to single user mode.. I made a manual fsck and then
rebooted.
After connecting Monitor and Keyboard to the box,
I'm able to get the login screen, as well as Gnome Desktop Login

Did it come up after the forced reboot? Or is it in single user mode
waiting for a manual fsck or something?
If you have the machine in your office walk over and connect a physical
terminal - that is - monitor + keyboard - to it (if you don't have a
terminal console server that is). If it is in some datacenter ask the
people there to check what they see when connecting a monitor +
keyboard.
