Dear listers,
I changed the file entry for mouse in XF86Config as /dev/tty0. On
startx I saw a debian desktop but it was showing very primitive colors
& no response from keyboard or mouse. It was hung. Had to cold boot.
I am new to this, following are the specs of my motherboard -
Chipset INTEL 810E
Integrate VGA 3D graphic acceleration
8 mb frame buffer DVMT
UP TO 1600 X 1200 IN 8-BIT COLOR @ 85 HZ REFRESH
Integrate IDE
Audio AC'97 digital audio cntroller integrated
ac'97 codec on board
audio driver utility included
Multi I/O keyboard & ps/2 mouse connecors
If some kind soul tells me how to modify XF86Config from this info I
will really be very very grateful to him.
~Sachin
