Hello,
I had written an article on "Running Multiple X-servers" at
http://www.praveen-linux.8m.com/art/multiple-x-servers.htm . Now a
person has got some problems with the same on his machine. Even i've
tried the same on my machine (now a i810) but i am getting problems
starting the second X-server. i get an error like :
(EE) GARTInit: AGPIOC_INFO failed (Invalid argument)
(EE) I810(0): AGP GART support is not available. Make sure your kernel
has agpgart support or that the agpgart kernel module is loaded.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
I tried adding some extra Screen sections but still i am unable to get
it working, help me out. I tried the same with an SiS 6215c card with
Xfree86-3.3.6 and it worked perfectly. Is this a quirk with I810 or am i
missing something ???
