We are running a small ISP setup in Rajasthan.We
have a 64 kbps link through DOT. we have following
problem:
1. we have a RAS card(RS2000) of Ariel Corporation
with a capacity of 30 ports only hosted on NT server
4.0, now the hardware is old and also creates problem
often as it doesnot let the dialup users get connected
to the RAS server as it doesnot properly support the
PRI line of ISDN and we get frequent fluctuations in
the status of the line(active,inactive)so what can be
the problem and what can be the longstanding solution
of it.
2. we run radius server with Mysql database running in
the backend to authenticate users hence we also need
suggestion to make the system efficient. we run linux
gateway connected to Zyxel router with radius,mysql
and squid caching server on the same linux machine.
this mail is of immediate concern as presently the
services are down , so kindly act fast and give us the
solution.any possibility to port RAS card mentioned
above on the linux server and any relevant links and
info. on the web in this regard.
