sir,

I am a student learning Redhat linux 7.2. I have
installed one independent linux workstation and one linux server
running side by side with windows 98. the installation was quite
successfull.now i have a problem in establishing network
connectivity between these two
Linux machines(RedHat 7.2).

I can ping between these two machines and also i can connect to
server from client by using ssh.

problem found:

1. While trying to connect the server from client by using
rlogin and rcp command, --connection refused error came.

2. while trying to connect server from client using telnet the
same error is occuring, ie connection refused.

3. while trying to mount a folder on server from client using
NFS same error is reporting

Please send me details regarding connectivity
between a linux workstation and a linux server(REDHAT 7.2) and how
to use telnet, rlogin, rcp, and NFS.Also send me details on how to
access fat16,32 and NTFS file systems on dual OS machines. Please
tell me details how to enable these in linux networks.

Is there any other methods to login to a linux machine
 from another linux machine?

                                Thanking you,
                                Jajish Thomas,
                                Eranakulam,
                                Kerala, India.
