Thanks Bish and Sudhakar for your clues.

I have already moved  /home to NFS. But the one application which I am
installing on Solaris is always
looking at /usr, and there no other way by which you can ask it to
install at place where there is a space. Even I am paranoid about
sharing /usr across NFS but I think that is the only way out to have
more space on /usr.
