Hi, I use Sify broadband on linux. I installed linux after they had done the setup within 2 days. I had no knowledge about networking on linux but it was a breeze to install and run the net. Just remember to get your username, password, IP address (they use static IP), gateway and nameservers addresses and last netmask (or subnetmask - same thing). There is one thing I dont know how to logout of the service and not sure weather they logout on dicconnection or keep us loggedin. Since I have taken an unlimited connection and it is relly very good. It gives me a download speed of 6 KBPS all the time (Night or day) and a surfing speed does not suffer due to downloading. They are planning to increase the charges from 9600 to 11000 for annual unlimited connection,so if you decide then please hurry. Happy surfing on some quality services like Linux and Sify..
