That's because HP has suddenly hit my list of `Top 10 Preferred
Companies' after the courage and extreme level-headedness they showed
by threatening Snosoft with prosecution under the DMCA instead of
fixing 4-month-old bugs in Tru64. They're right up there, just below
Billu Badshah's baby. Billu, of course, is not likely to be displaced
from the top position anytime soon because of his consistent
commitment to user privacy (ref the Win2K SP3 EULA), his company's
constant innovation, his adherence to and promotion of global
standards, his `truth in marketing' policy and the outstanding
security of his products.
