Hi,
That is obviously a CD-ROM Problem, probably a defective one. Try
getting a different CD-ROM Drive. I am using a Hitachi CD-ROM
Drive. Almost all of the CD-ROM Drives work fine in Linux. You just need
to see that you don't get a defective one.
