Duh.. All it means that he can skip creation of oracle/dba user/group during oracle installation process. Oracle expects you to supply a valid user/group combination during installation, which is recommended to be oracle/dba. Funny that oracle needs to run a shell script as root before it can proceed, in the middle of the installation. I wonder if setuid call is disabled when one writes installer in java..;-)) Or probably customer won't pay for a simple install run from root shell.. or their pride would hurt for shipping a working and simple install..
