May be the services are enabled for rl5 only.. 

If the installation is grounds up in X, then I would count that as a smart move 
on redhat's front..

Just for the note, his problem is solved. He sent a personal note of thanks 
around 4PM..;-) Dunno if his databases are up or not..;-)
