AFAIK, no non-destructive method of changing partition sizes
of existing ext2 partitions. If yours is a Win/Linux box you
may delete one of the win  partitions  and move  some of the
existing Linux stuff like /usr or /var to it.

If data is critical, it is better to add another  HDD,  move
something like /home or /usr to the new HDD and then upgrade
the version.
