after switching to debian woody, xawtv is not maximising fully like it did when i was on mandrake 9. i was careful about configuring the related modules exactly as they were on mandrake, and all the modules are loading correctly, as far as i can see. there is one difference, however. when i am loading the "v4l" module in XF86Config-4, xawtv is unable to show anything. the screen becomes an array of colourful, shifting vertical stripes. this problem wasn't there on mandrake. it had a different version of X - 4.2, as opposed to woody's 4.1. can anybody suggest a solution?
