[LIH]Sendmail error

Hello All,
A mail is stuck in the queue & it says timed out error in the logs, even when i try to manually flush the mails in the queue sendmail -v -q it tries for a long time & gives a timed out error.
When manually flushing it checks for valid users on the particular domain & says ok but when the body od the message has to be sent it takes a long time & then returns a timed out error. This is not a problem with other mails but only that particular mail.
