Hi All! It has been a very smooth riding for a long time with my RedHat 7.1. Only a few days back, the system seems to get stuck up while shutting down. After it displays ... Shutting down kernel logger... Shutting down system logger... ...
it takes a long time to shut down these process. Sometimes it displays "kill pid...out of memory...pstoraster etc. etc. Otherwise, I simply have to switch off the machine. Could anybody point me out, where to look for the problem. I have 128MB of RAM. I have not insdtalled any new RPM package recently. Regards, Madhurjya P.
