If you do not know how to lock an account, why do you call your self  ?

BTW answers to your question ...
Choose Any One.

1. Change his password.
2. Lock his password with passwd -L option
3. Change his shell to /bin/false
4. Delete the user.
Finally,
5 Put the 'user' in Lockup.
