All you have to do is run an IMAP/POP3 server on your mail server ... let squirrel mail access that. We even modified squirrel mail so that now it can figure out which server to contact for a particular user based on a global aliases file. This allows us to run mail servers on various machines with a single host providing a web interface to all users.
