Dear Friends, I have PC with External Modem with Handset attached to it at Home. There is a Suse 8.0 Server at office which is Configured as Dial-in Server.
Whenever a Call comes to office the Tel-operator picks it first then depending on caller and work he has its transferred to Respective Line. Till date this scenario was working fine since Home PC was having windows and Dialer in windows has Operator Assisted Dialing Facility. My new project is on Linux and I have configured Suse 8.0 on Home PC. I tried to connect to Office using kppp but the tel-op. only listens the beeps and and has confusion whether its a data call or a fax call and there is total confusion. Can I configure KPPP for operator Assisted Dialing ? if yes HOW ? Best Regards R. S.
