Hi all,

In second attempt to install debian, I ot it up and running in less than two
hours, with all updates from testing branch installed, KDE2 running, with
2.4.18+reiserfs.

I should pat myself for this but I digress..:-)

I am running KDE2.2.2 right now. Though all my purposes are served i.e.
kdvelop and kmail running, I would like to upgrade to KDE3.1.

I don't see KDE3.1 in testing. Any idea where I can get without breaking my
current setup?

I was about to format debian to install mandrake again so that I can get a
linux development environment again. But this time it worked like a charm.
Last time it kinda hosed up because I went to default 2.2 kernel and
specified unstable rather than testing. Though I had KDE3.1, I didn't have
kmail and kdevelop.

I am pretty happy now. KDE2.2.2 is faster than KDE3.0.3 on mandrake and
almost as fast as KDE3.1 on freeBSD.

TIA
