Thanks. I downloaded ytalk and,
# ./configure
# make
# make install

# hostname
localhost.localdomain

Now I log in as user payal1 and,
$ ytalk -x payal2
----------------------------= YTalk version 3.1.1 =---------------------

But user payal2 does not get any alert on her terminal. I also tried,
$ ytalk -x payal2 @localhost.localdomain.
After some time I get a error message,

 Ytalk Error

 No talk daemon on localhost.localdomain

How to setup this talk daemon? Which software to use?

Thanks a lot and eagerly waiting for answers.

Regards,
-Payal
