Hi,

I am trying to do traffic shaping using cbq.init file.

my setup is something like this

     (203.7.19.50)  eth0 [linux box] eth1 (192.168.9.1)

The two cbq defaults configuration are

## Configuration from backbone to client. File Name :
cbq-028.backbone-client

        DEVICE=eth1,10Mbit,1Mbit
        RATE=28Kbit
        WEIGHT=2Kbit
        PRIO=5
        RULE=192.168.9.1

## Configuration from client to backbone. File Name :
cbq-128.client-backbone

            DEVICE=eth0,10Mbit,1Mbit
            RATE=128Kbit
            WEIGHT=10Kbit
            PRIO=5
            RULE=192.168.9.1,203.7.19.50

After starting cbq, i tried to download a file download.com, the download
speed is approx 4 to 5 KB/sec. which is
same speed after stoping cbq script
i tried to use ftp. i am able to login but not able to download.its gives
error "can't make data connection for 192.168.8.3 from (203.7.19.50)"

My question is how to test. ??

Is there any alternative. ??

Thanks for help

Rgds
Jai
