Hi Guys, I am new to this group and this is my first mail....for HELP!.
I have installed "SUSE LINUX OFFICE DESKTOP" (suse linux 8.1) on my COMPAQ PRESARIO 6140, 1.7 GHz., 256 Mb , CONEXANT modem (Internal). 1. I'd like to know how I can configure the modem (56kbps). I understand I would need the drivers for it. The modem type is :- HSF PCI ID 14F1:2F00. Its a "Soft Modem". 2. Can anybody tell me how to configure dial-up internet access to my ISP Satyam Online. Satyam Customercare simply told me to go to "Google" (literally!!). I hope the group will live to its reputation!
