I have recently installed a RedHat 8.0 disyttributed by PCQ India MAgazine ( As PCQLinux 8.0 ).
The System already had a Win98 .
I did not install Grub or LILO as I thought I'd rather use LOADLIN .
But now I have a serious problem :
Everytime I run loadlin , I get the following Error :
!! Compression format Error (err 1) !!
The VMLinuz file seems to be alright . Following is a dump with loadlin -d option :
