Don't take me that high. I feel dizzy. And mind you, the first "g" in gnenguins
is *not* silent.

But I was actually replying to the post by Mr. Nataraj S. Narayan. I wanted to
tell him about my disagreement on Usenet being redundant among todays web
centric apps.

Usenet did gobble up 60mb of my bandwidth cap. Believe me. Of course there was
a small glitch in my Emacs setup that ate about 20mb extra. Precisely, it would
be correct to say that I spent around 40mb downloading news only. It was the
Usenet which helped me in my early days with Emacs and GNU/Linux in
general. Nostalgic moments are quite addictive. After quite a long gap, that
night, I sat on my machine for about 8 hours straight. 

You speak wise. Somewhere, something is not right when you are hooked on to the
Usenet ;-)
